For the original one when using Rice Krispies cereal, we Yanks usually don't add chocolate to it or on it. It's good and sweet and yum on its own. But, if you want, you can drizzle chocolate sauce atop the squares once they've cooled and you're ready to cut them. I'd recommend using the type of chocolate sauce that hardens. As I mentioned, you can use other types of cereal too. Chocolate cereals are really good for this (like Lion, Chocolate Rice Krispies, etc.) Fruity ones (like Froot Loops) work well too.

Believe it or not, but in Holland I have never seen Marshmallows in any type of supermarket. We don't know it exists. We only know it from movies where they burn it over some campfire, and then shoot it into someones forehead where it sticks, lol.
