Rogue Motto: The purpose of life is for me to destroy it.
I believe I was a child when my life ended, I did not die, but I wish I had, for all in this world I loved was gone: my home,my family and my friends. I still see the face at night, when I close my eyes, always there taunting me and wanting me to surrender my life but I shall not give in to those who wish me harm as I have learned the ways of life and death and my job in the circle of life, I have to keep the souls moving.
I shall not go into the details of past as the pain it causes me is unbearable, to tell people of how you have loved and lost it all is useless because they cannot know how you feel. What I will tell you however is my life after.
And so it begins.
The days after my life was lost, were numb at the start, wandering aimlessly and looking for something, someone. After a while of walking around I saw a tree with something distorted about it, like it was blurred, intrigued I walked up to it. When I got there it had disappeared, but as I turned around I saw this creature that looked like it was a human but was dead, also he had a blade pointed right at my heart and as I was distracted he slipped his other blade in front of my throat...He said to me "Well what have we here".
I gulped, then replied "Do what you will, my life is worthless now"
He looked taken aback and asked rhetorically "Ready to die at such a young age?". As I looked at the floor he answered himself "I guess I might have a use for you, if you think you are up for it"
Now that I think of it my reply was quite useless but he seemed to find it amusing. "I'd like to cause pain on those who have on me"
He smirked and then whispered "If you want to come with me, I will show you your true calling, a rogue".
I replied "I will follow you"
And so it was that we left on our journey to-wards this place by the name of Orgrimmar, a place for all Horde. As we entered it I was overwhelmed by the sheer power it displayed. Apparently it was built hundreds of years ago, a haven for those who were not taken by the world. My companion left me when we got there with a a bag of gold so I could survive and a dagger.
For a while I wandered around Orgrimmar hoping to find somewhere to hone my "skills" I did not believe I had any skills, and thought I would end up as a peon, chopping wood all day, every day. That night I walked into this dark place, and I felt home, I heard an argument and decided to stay in the shadows and get as close as I could with about being seen, as I got near one of them turned around, a troll, and looked directly at me, I thought he had seen me, but he just grunted and turned back.
I stayed there that night just wandering around in the shadows. In
the morning I had a look around again and there was the troll, slicing this dummy to pieces. I got closer and he looked at me, just as he had last night and chuckled "I saw you last night you know, your not bad, but if you want to be a rogue you'll have to earn it". At that point he told me to get my dagger out and do as much damage as I could to the dummy. Unsurprisingly I didn't do much, and he told me so but he did say "You have potential, but you have to take what you have now and practice, I see you have learned how to use the shadows, but I'll show you how to become almost invisible, to lift gold from a pocket without it being noticed, to walk behind some-one and slit their throat in a matter of seconds and to create and use poisons and your surroundings to your advantage, all I ask is your dedication".
And he did, and much more. I believe that I have few friends in this world, and that is all I want, I am trying to rebuild my life, though I will never belong as I do not wish to. I am an orc, I work for denizens of the Horde, all my gold goes to-wards honing my skills, I will always strive to improve. I have since found who wrought this life upon me, and I have repaid the favor.
This life I have is cursed with a constant need to destroy others. I have also found the person who told me my fate, and I have told him my thanks, I have also found out the undead's name, Herasan. I have become a worthy rogue, always fighting to be at the top of the food chain. I have always work to do, as a rogues work is never done, I wish no longer to die, as I want to show myself that I am better than the rest. The reason I live is to destroy others, so I will. And home will always be in the darkness, I'll always be home in my heart, where the light will never show.
So you have heard of my life (draws blades) and so your story ends. (makes a simple slice through your chest and leaves you crumpled on the floor) "You live as long as I wish for you to, so your gone, and my story goes on"
